Job summary

CityVet is seeking Veterinary Technician Assistants with at least 1 year of veterinary experience or entry-level candidates to join our team. We value care, teamwork, and the ability to support veterinarians and technicians in daily practice.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient prep for medical, surgical, and dental procedures, triage support, and communication with clients. CityVet offers training and growth opportunities within a supportive, vet-led clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to properly and safely restrain animals.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist VT in preparing patients for medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Collaborate with VT and Veterinarian teams to triage and support patient care.
• Record observations and treatment plans in patient files; support front office communications.
• Assist Client Service Specialist team when needed.
