Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary care preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and handle equipment.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Basic math for medication dosages; basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams and surgical procedures.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights for outpatient visits.
• Obtain samples and perform in-house lab tests.
• Prepare and maintain radiographs following safety procedures.
• Educate clients about care and treatment options.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory in exam and lab areas.
