Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our on-site team. You will assist veterinarians, monitor patients, run basic lab tests, prepare surgical suites, and educate clients on wellness plans and disease prevention.

Maintain medical records, support hospital operations, and deliver compassionate care while collaborating with a dedicated team. A CVT/RVT/LVT (or state license) and 1+ year of hospital experience are required; some weekend shifts may be

Qualifications

• Valid CVT/RVT/LVT certification or state license required.
• 1+ year of veterinary hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment and monitoring of animals under supervision.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and patients for surgery.
• Assist veterinarians during procedures and post-operative care.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical charting and patient records.
