Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as veterinary assistant or kennel helper.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Typing and use of multiple computer systems efficiently.
• Passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments
• Restrain pets for exams
• Record and report patient symptoms
• Clean, restock and maintain exam rooms
• Explain pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients
• Assist with client interactions, scheduling and education
• Perform other duties as assigned
