Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare in York, PA, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will provide compassionate, hands-on support for emergency and specialty care, assisting with treatments, diagnostics, and hospitalized patient care.

As part of Thrive, you will be engaged in admissions, care coordination, and discharge processes while growing your skills through ThriveU and other training resources in a supportive, community-focused hospital network.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience.

Animal Emergency & Referral Center of York is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in York, PA.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing compassionate, hands‑on support for patients receiving emergency and specialty care. Your life‑changing work will range from assisting with treatments, diagnostics, and hospitalized patient care to supporting essential hospital services, including patient admissions, care coordination and discharge processes.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience
  • Emergency veterinary experience preferred
