Pet Services of Washington, P.S. in Fountain Valley, CA, is seeking a knowledgeable Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. This role focuses on client service, patient support, and daily hospital operations in a fast-paced environment with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and support staff.

The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality care, accurate records, and collaborative teamwork while delivering compassionate service to patients and clients.

Formación

• 2 years minimum Veterinary Medicine experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule: Full-Time, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Salary: $20 - $30 / hour. ALL dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.

• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed with patient care

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum Veterinary Medicine experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common conditions (Preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
