Job summary

VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Team. The position offers $20 - $25 per hour with a Full-Time schedule of four 10-hour overnight shifts at our Tustin location.

Duties include maintaining medical records, assisting with procedures, preparing medications, and communicating with clients. Benefits and a strong team environment are provided as part of our comprehensive package.

• Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

• Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.

At VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Team.

Salary : $ 20 - $ 25 / hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10-hour shifts , Overnight Shift

Location : 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780

We believe in high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, and making that happen through dedication and learning. The position is for 4 days, 10 Hour shifts. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really, really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include:

• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments.
• Preparing medications and prescriptions.
• Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Assisting in procedures.
