VCA Yorba Regional Animal Hospital in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for our Emergency team. You will provide triage, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care in a fast-paced, 24-hour hospital.

The facility offers Emergency care, hospitalization, preventive care, grooming and boarding, plus advanced services such as ultrasound, laparoscopy, ortho surgeries and acupuncture.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in emergency veterinary care is preferred.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Competence in radiology and anesthesia monitoring.
• Strong clinical examination and patient assessment skills.
• Willingness to work 4x10-hour shifts including one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and triage support to patients.
• Assist with anesthesia monitoring and patient examinations.
• Prepare and assist in surgical procedures.
• Perform dentistry, laboratory work, and pharmacy-related tasks.

Come join VCA Yorba Regional Animal Hospital! We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant join our Emergency team!

Location: 8290 E Crystal Dr, Anaheim, CA 92807

Salary: $19 $29 per hour

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 1 weekend day required

VCA Yorba is a busy 24 hour hybrid practice. We are full service facility offering Emergency care, Hospitalization, Preventative/Routine medical care, Grooming, and Boarding. In addition to advanced services such as cold laser therapy, ultrasound, laparoscopy, ortho surgeries, acupuncture and reproductive services we offer general Veterinary services such as vaccination, spays and neuters, and wellness exams,

We take pride in our large facility spanning over 15,000 square feet. Our goal is to add compassionate skilled associates to our existing team. Our practice is well equipped with in-house labs, digital radiographs (including digital dental radiograph's). We have 14 full time DVM's, as well as an on call boarded surgeon, Ultrasonographer and Cardiologist.
