Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant program or equivalent
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year related experience preferred with customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures and prep work for veterinarians and technicians
• Educate clients about wellness plans, preventive care and hospital services
• Maintain medical charts and obtain client history
• Ensure safety and hygiene in treatment areas, labs, and exam rooms
• Mentor paraprofessionals and support hospital team productivity
