Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred
• Proficiency in safety handling of dogs, cats, and exotics
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments and outpatient procedures
• Experience collecting patient histories and vital signs preferred
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room and outpatient workflow to ensure exceptional patient and client care
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Assist veterinarians during outpatient procedures and treatments while providing high-quality patient care
• Build positive relationships with clients through education, communication, and attentive service
