Qualifications

• Previous hands-on Veterinary Assistant experience.
• Confidence with safe patient handling and restraint.
• Experience assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Experience with venipuncture and diagnostic sample collection.
• Familiarity with in-house laboratory testing and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide compassionate, attentive patient care and monitoring.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Obtain radiographs and maintain imaging standards.
• Support surgical and dental procedures and patient care.
• Educate clients about care, medications, and discharge instructions.
