VCA Hawthorn Animal Hospital

is expanding its team and looking for a part-time Veterinary Assistant!

Snapshot of the Role:

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff
• Ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
• Maintaining fully stocked treatment areas and exam rooms
• Restraining animals during examinations or vaccinations
• Keeping accurate records and logs
• Sterilizing equipment
• Observing patients for signs of health concerns and reporting findings to senior staff
• Plus so much more!

Compensation:

$16 - 18/hr, with the starting range determined by skill set and years of experience. Financial growth opportunities are available.

Schedule:

Part-time opportunity (20 - 22 hours), Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
