Sheboygan Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We may train the right person, valuing a great work ethic and dependable attendance. Prior veterinary experience is a plus but not required, along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We offer a four‑day work week with rotating Saturday shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow your veterinary career through hands-on training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the veterinary team with appointments, procedures, surgery, and patient care.
• Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas and keep them clean and organized.
• Assist with patient intake, discharge, and client communication.
• Clean and maintain equipment and surgical areas.
• Support with laboratory samples, medications, treatments, and other patient-care tasks.
• Help keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
• Participate in training and actively develop new skills.
