Heart + Paw in Ridgely, MD is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in exams and surgeries. You will care for pets, collect samples, and educate pet parents on preventive care across a modern, pet-focused facility.

• Recording and maintaining patient medical history and inventory logs.
• Preparing rooms for appointments and surgery.
• Educating pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and behavior.
• Supporting low-stress handling practices during all interactions.
• Assisting with radiographs, dental procedures, and general anesthesia monitoring.
• Maintaining a clean, disease-free environment throughout the center.
• Promoting all center services, including grooming, daycare, and boarding.
