Job Responsibilities
  • Use sound judgment when making decisions about patient care
  • Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies
  • Maintain high standards of patient care
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians, other staff, and clients to ensure patients receive the care they need
  • Remain friendly and flexible amid varying client and coworker expectations
  • Multi‑task, prioritize tasks effectively, and think creatively
  • Provide patient and client comfort by keeping the hospital clean and presentable
  • Withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an hourly pay range starting at $21.00 to $26.00 an hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
