Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a clinical veterinary setting.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain Fear Free or HABRI certification.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and manage physically demanding situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during routine exams and procedures.
• Monitor and care for pets to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collect samples and perform diagnostics under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Record and maintain patient medical history and inventory logs.
• Prepare rooms for appointments and surgery.
• Educate pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and behavior.
• Support low-stress handling practices during all interactions.
• Assist with radiographs, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Maintain a clean, disease-free environment throughout the center.
• Promote center services, including grooming, daycare, and boarding.
