Job summary

South Maui Animal Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Kihei, HI, is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant (RVT/LVT considered) to join our compassionate team. You’ll help with outpatient care, lab work, and client services, supporting veterinarians in delivering high‑quality care for pets and their families.

This role offers a 4‑day work week with Saturdays required, opportunities to grow through ThriveU, and a benefits package including health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience as Vet Tech Assistant or Vet Tech (2–3 years preferred).
• Registered, Licensed, and Certified Veterinary Technicians will be highly considered.

Responsibilities

South Maui Animal Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technician Assistant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end‑to‑end care for our precious patients. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience as a Vet Tech Assistant or Vet Tech, 2‑3 years preferred.
• Registered, Licensed, and Certified Veterinary Technicians will also be highly considered.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology

Compensation-

$21-$25 Hourly depending on experience.
