NOVA Cat Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant who loves working with cats to join our team. If you are passionate about felines, come join us!

We are a Gold Cat Friendly Practice dedicated to feline comfort, an established cat hospital with clients supporting gold standard medicine and surgery. We have the knowledge, skills, and equipment to provide high-quality care, and a cohesive, friendly team of veterinary professionals. Located in a small town within 30-45 minutes of the DC metro area.

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities

• Executing treatment orders
• Performing blood draws
• Keeping cages clean and sanitized
• Walking, feeding, and caring for animals
• Performing housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, garbage)
• Communicating with clients via phone and in person
• Taking radiographs, CBC, chem, lytes, and reading urinalysis
• Restraint of animals
• Assisting with outpatient procedures
• Filling prescribed medications
