Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians during routine exams and surgical procedures.
  • Monitoring and caring for pets, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Collecting samples and performing diagnostics under supervision.
  • Administering prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments.
  • Recording and maintaining patient medical history and inventory logs.
  • Preparing rooms for appointments and surgery.
  • Educating pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and behavior.
  • Supporting low-stress handling practices during all interactions.
  • Assisting with radiographs, dental procedures, and general anesthesia monitoring.
  • Maintaining a clean, disease-free environment throughout the center.
  • Promoting all center services, including grooming, daycare, and boarding.

What We're Looking For

  • Required Experience: 1-2 years in a clinical veterinary setting.
  • Skills: Exceptional client communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and teamwork mindset.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and manage emotionally and physically demanding situations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Certifications: Fear Free or HABRI certification (or a willingness to obtain).
  • A passion for pets and the human-animal bond.
  • Tech-savvy with an interest in innovative veterinary practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
