CARE| Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency in Charlotte, NC seeks an Anesthesiology Technician to support safe anesthesia throughout the hospital. This non-management role works closely with an anesthesiologist, handling preparation, equipment, and patient needs to ensure smooth case flow.

The position requires a Veterinary Technician license and anesthesia experience, with shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential later days.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician license is required.
• 2+ years of clinical veterinary technician experience with anesthesia preferred.
• Minimum 1 year anesthesia experience in a specialty/emergency/high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Consult daily with anesthesiologist on case priorities and workflow.
• Prepare, restock, and maintain anesthesia equipment and spaces.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and vital signs under supervision.
• Place IV catheters and run in-house labs for anesthetized patients.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia; document records accurately.
