Sage Veterinary Imaging seeks a Case Manager & Patient Safety Supervisor to lead anesthesia and sedation safety, QA, and technician competency across multiple practice locations.

The role serves as a clinical resource for veterinarians, technicians, specialists, and operational teams, ensuring consistent application of anesthesia and sedation protocols, thorough clinical documentation, and effective case preparation.

Qualifications

• Current VTS in Anesthesia & Analgesia.
• Current veterinary technician license/registration in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of veterinary clinical experience with anesthesia and monitoring.
• Advanced expertise in anesthesia protocols, pharmacology, monitoring, pain management, recovery.
• Experience training and mentoring veterinary technicians.
• Strong documentation, patient safety, and QA practices.
• Ability to travel to SVI locations ~1 week per month.
• Ability to reside within commuting distance of Round Rock, TX.

Responsabilités

• Monitor adherence to anesthesia and sedation protocols across all locations.
• Evaluate anesthesia practices to identify patient safety risks.
• Develop and standardize evidence-based anesthesia protocols.
• Review complications and coordinate follow-up with leadership.
• Lead technician onboarding and competency assessments.
• Coordinate pre-anesthetic readiness and case documentation.
• Support MRI/CT procedures with anesthesia planning.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership.
