Job summary

Other in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit seeks a dedicated case manager to support veterans enrolled in the Veterans Treatment Court program. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and coordinate referrals to mental health and substance abuse services.

Reporting to the Veterans Treatment Court Coordinator, you will prepare court reports and facilitate communication among defendants, treatment providers, and court staff to promote rehabilitation over incarceration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, criminal justice, mental health counseling, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of related professional experience.
• Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) preferred.
• Certified Addiction Professional or Certified Mental Health Professional preferred.
• Knowledge of substance use, mental health disorders, DSM-5 TR, state/federal confidentiality laws, and 12-Step Programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to veteran participants in the Veterans Treatment Court program.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor participant progress.
• Coordinate referrals to mental health and substance abuse services.
• Prepare court reports and facilitate communication among all parties in each case.
• Work under the supervision of the Veterans Treatment Court Coordinator and promote rehabilitation over incarceration.
