State Courts System in Florida seeks an OPS Court Program Specialist II to manage Veterans Treatment Court participants and provide court supervision. You will track progress, coordinate services, and prepare timely reports for staffings and hearings.

Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this role. Position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience, with CAP/CAAP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, criminal justice, mental health counseling, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of related professional experience; substitutions allowed per policy.
• CAP or CAAP certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Orients participants to Veterans Treatment Court program requirements and phases.
• Develops and updates individualized case plans based on participant needs and goals.
• Maintains regular in-person contact with participants via weekly visits and monitoring.
• Coordinates referrals to mental health care, trauma treatment, housing, employment and services.
• Monitors progress, treatment adherence, toxicology, and court requirements.
• Prepares reports for staffings and court hearings; communicates with providers and probation.
• Maintains electronic case files and releases information per confidentiality laws.
