Job summary

Seminole County's Veterans Court is seeking a Veterans Court Case Specialist to support the Problem-Solving Courts program. The role includes orienting new veterans, conducting intakes, assisting with participant placement, and ensuring transportation.

You will communicate with service providers, verify information for phase advancement, and track data in the internal case management system for reporting and performance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public admin, business admin, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• Three years of professional, administrative, analytical work experience.
• Three+ years in substance use treatment, behavioral health, case management, or treatment courts.
• Experience with justice-involved populations and cooccurring disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Orient new veterans signing into the program.
• Perform intakes and assist with client placement.
• Ensure transportation for participants.
• Communicate with service providers and verify information for phase advancement.
• Track data in internal case management system for reporting.
