Job summary

Eagle Star Housing in Spencerport, NY is seeking a compassionate Residential Living Specialist to support veterans and vulnerable residents. You will help with meals, housing coordination, and daily living duties while coordinating services to promote stability and independence.

You will build service plans, document progress, and connect residents to VA resources and community supports, ensuring a respectful, supportive home environment on site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dinner for up to 15 residents and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide Case Management Support with service plans, one-on-one meetings, and documentation.
• Refer residents to VA, mental health providers, and social service agencies.
• Guide intake and orientation for new residents; support adjustment to communal living.
• Ensure residents follow house rules and foster respect and growth.
• Coordinate care with Housing Manager and external providers.
• Stay present on shift to respond to resident needs in real time.
