Eagle Star Housing is seeking a compassionate Overnight Residential Living Specialist to support veterans and residents in a structured housing program. The role involves cooking, supervising a safe environment, and acting as a case manager to develop individualized service plans and coordinate referrals.

You will conduct weekly case meetings, document progress, and guide new residents through intake while maintaining boundaries and promoting dignity and growth.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with veterans or other vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of social security/disability benefits and referral processes.
• Familiarity with mental health services, housing resources, and case coordination.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain boundaries.
• Organizational skills for tracking documentation and appointments.

Aufgaben

• Be the heart of the home! Cook and serve dinner for up to 15 residents and help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Support residents as a case manager, to include providing services: developing service plans tailored to each resident’s needs and goals; weekly one-on-one case meetings; writing accurate case notes and documentation; making referrals to community resources including the VA, mental health providers, and social service agencies; guiding new residents through intake and orientation; ensuring residents follow house expectations; collaborating with Housing Manager and external providers to coordinate care; staying present during shift to respond to resident needs; promoting accountability, dignity, and hope.
