Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor to provide readjustment counseling to Veterans and families. The role includes intake, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of psychotherapy in various modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling
• Graduate degree from CACREP-accredited program or related field
• Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) with independence to practice

Responsibilities

• This position provides psychotherapeutic services to Veterans and families
• Conduct intake screening, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Deliver individual, group, or family counseling interventions
• Coordinate care with Vet Center outreach and other services
• Maintain documentation of clinical interactions and care coordination
