Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors to provide readjustment counseling services to Veterans, active-duty Service members, and their families.

This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapeutic interventions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include intake, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordination with Vet Center

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or CACREP-accredited program.
• Full, current, and unrestricted licensure to practice independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic services to Veterans and families.
• Conduct intake screening and risk assessment.
• Develop individualized readjustment counseling service plans and document outcomes.
• Coordinate with Vet Center outreach and community resources to maximize patient functioning.
• Maintain professional documentation and participate in team meetings.
