Augusta Technical College is seeking a Student Affairs Assistant - Military/Veteran Services to perform tech-related and administrative duties for VA education benefits delivery. The role supports veterans across campuses and helps navigate benefits.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of computer-support experience; a credential in Business Administration or Information Technology is preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience with computer support and navigating VA benefits processing.
• Preference for credential in Business Administration or Information Technology from an accredited college; 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with resources within the Military Service Center.
• Process applications for VA education benefits at all campuses.
• Assist with military enrollment certification requests for all campuses.
• Help students and/or parents navigate VA education benefits.
• Maintain active and inactive military/veteran files.
• Keep VA informed of enrollment status of veterans and eligible persons.
• Notify Military Services Coordinator of any issues affecting VA services.
• Stay up to date on VA rules and benefits.
• Guide work-study students in customer service, cleanliness, and restocking of supplies for the Military Service Center.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Military Services Coordinator.
