Qualifications

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterans and families with securing permanent housing, including housing search and lease-up coordination.
• Serve as liaison between U.S.VETS, VA, HUD-VASH teams, landlords, and community partners.
• Collaborate with HUD-VASH social workers and case managers to support clients.
• Maintain regular client communication to ensure engagement and housing progress.
• Conduct housing assessments to identify barriers, strengths, and needs.
• Help clients gather documents and complete housing applications and paperwork.
• Coordinate apartment searches, viewings, transportation, and move-in logistics.
• Build relationships with landlords and housing providers; advocate during negotiations.
