Qualifications

• Five years of experience in building construction trade or maintenance.
• Two-year training plus three years experience in construction maintenance.
• Eighteen semester hours in a construction/engineering field plus two years in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the maintenance department at a 156-bed long-term care facility and manage a maintenance team.
• Discuss evaluations and performance, advise on disciplinary actions if needed.
• Ensure quality assurance through audits, staff in-services, and policy adherence.
• Report resident complaints and incidents, coordinating with maintenance staff.
• Maintain safety and a clean, efficient work environment for residents and staff.

Education

Five years of experience in building construction trade or maintenance; road/bridge construction or maintenance

Two-year training program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering + three years in construction trade or maintenance; or road/bridge maintenance

Eighteen semester hours in construction field or engineering + two years in construction trade or maintenance
