Veterans United Home Loans is seeking a Loan Officer to help Veterans secure home financing. You will assess borrower needs, coordinate with the loan team, and guide applicants through pre-approval and loan processes to ensure a smooth experience.

The role emphasizes clear communication, education on loan options, and adherence to guidelines while leveraging AI-assisted tools and social channels to support performance and customer engagement.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of Loan Officer experience, preferably in the San Antonio area.
• VA loan knowledge highly valued.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to educate borrowers on process and options.
• Self-motivated with initiative and urgency.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate loan status regularly with clients via email and phone.
• Analyze borrowers’ information to determine feasibility of pre-approving and obtaining a loan.
• Coordinate with the loan team to ensure a smooth process and resolve issues.
• Interview borrowers and verify information and documentation.
• Educate borrowers on loan process and product/service alternatives.
• Remain knowledgeable on company and industry guidelines and processes.
• Manage social media presence.
