Job summary

WWC Global is seeking Employment Coaches to support the Florida National Guard Employment Support Program. You will provide non-personal employment services, case management, and job placement assistance to veterans, spouses, and guards members across Florida.

Responsibilities include career assessments, resume/cover letter guidance, workshop delivery, and interview coaching. Occasional travel and some weekend hours may apply as part of a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four years of employment services or HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of career development and counseling techniques.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in career counseling or employment coaching and workshop delivery.
• Proficiency in resume writing, interview prep, and job-search strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive career assessments to identify strengths and goals.
• Assist clients in setting short- and long-term career objectives.
• Provide guidance on resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies.
• Develop and deliver workshops on career development topics.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend development opportunities.
• Guide career transitions including promotions and lateral moves.
• Conduct mock interviews to improve client confidence.
• Collaborate with HR to align career initiatives with talent strategy.
• Stay informed about labor market trends and opportunities.
• Offer negotiation guidance on offers and promotions.
