Job summary

Interactive Government Holdings, Inc. (IGH) seeks an Employment Coach to support the Florida National Guard Employment Support Program.

You will work with Soldiers, Airmen, and families to balance civilian employment with military service, matching employer needs with Guardsmen skills and training. Responsibilities include bi-weekly outreach to job seekers, coaching on resume/interview techniques, and developing relationships with local, state, and federal employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior case management or employment services experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with service members, employers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contact unemployed service members and spouses bi-weekly; assess needs and present options.
• Provide coaching, counseling, training and job-search support; resume and interview prep.
• Maintain relationships with employers; schedule briefings; track placements and outcomes.
• Coordinate with ESGR and manage a client/employer database; attend events as needed.
