Job summary

Interactive Government Holdings, Inc. seeks an Employment Coach to support the Florida National Guard Employment Support Program.

The role focuses on connecting Soldiers, Airmen and families with employment options, educations and apprenticeship pathways while balancing civilian life with military service. The successful candidate will build relationships with local employers, deliver coaching on resumes and interview techniques, and conduct briefings at Guard units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or Social Science.
• Prior case management or employment services experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Contact unemployed service members and spouses bi-weekly.
• Evaluate job seekers and present employment, education, and apprenticeship options.
• Develop employer relationships and maintain the database.
• Deliver coaching on job search strategies, resumes, and interviews.
• Schedule briefings at Guard/Reserve units and coordinate referrals.
• Attend job fairs and ESGR events as needed.
• Work weekends as required to meet unit needs.
