Job summary

The Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center, part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, seeks a Registered Nurse to care for veterans at the Bowling Green facility. This full-time executive branch role includes overtime eligibility and a 40-hour workweek.

The RN will perform nursing duties, administer medications, collect assessments, supervise clinical staff, and maintain licensure. Locality premium and shift/weekend/holiday premiums apply; background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse.
• Background check required.
• Prior hospital or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under direction of a physician.
• Administers medications as prescribed and conducts care assessments.
• Documents essential information and supervises other clinical staff as needed.
