Signature HealthCARE of Bowling Green is seeking a registered nurse for full-time, on-site care in a rehabilitation and long-term setting. The role emphasizes direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to maintain safety, comfort, and quality of life for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Kentucky, with a minimum of one year in clinical nursing, preferably in long-term care, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practice state.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during assigned shifts.
• Monitor residents' status and report changes to physician.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in QA activities and staff education.
