Job summary

HMR Veterans Services is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee all facility operations in Fort Worth, Texas. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead diverse teams, and drive high-quality, resident-centered care for our nation’s veterans.

You will manage budgets, staff development, and survey readiness while collaborating with regulatory agencies. Travel may be required to support multi-state opportunities and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred
• Minimum of 3 years in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations (CMS/OBRA)
• Experience with survey processes and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Travel/relocation ability for multi-state opportunities

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies to maintain a safe, high-quality care environment
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff across nursing, dietary, social services, activities, maintenance, and business office
• Oversee facility budget, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Ensure survey readiness and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies; lead response to findings
• Monitor QAPI programs to drive continuous improvement in resident outcomes
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
