The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA) is seeking a Veterans Benefits Representative I to counsel veterans and their families in Warren County from Bowling Green. You will perform advisory duties, initiate claim preparation, and coordinate with local officials and media to advocate for veterans and their dependents.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience; a master's degree can substitute for the experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of experience in administration, military affairs or veterans' benefits counseling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide veterans benefits counseling and advisory duties.
• Initiate claim preparation for a designated region to establish veteran's service connected benefit claims.
• Coordinate with local government officials and media to support KDVA programs.
