Job summary

Responsibilities include recruitment and delivery of services, assisting with admissions, financial aid and benefits information, and maintaining participant records. Some travel and grant-related duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year advisory/administrative experience with students.
• Minimum of three years in US military, veteran affairs, or military assistance programs, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advise student veterans and connect them to campus and community resources.
• Understand needs of student veterans and formulate best practices for them.
• Recruit, select and deliver services to eligible participants.
• Support academic retention and postsecondary preparation outcomes.
• Provide guidance on admissions, financial aid and benefits information.
• Maintain participant records and required forms.
