Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field; five (5) years of program management in the non-profit sector; experience overseeing training and professional development programs
• Familiar with veteran services and human services program delivery
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an insured, reliable vehicle and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and oversight of the Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program (HVRP) to ensure program compliance
• Oversee essential HVRP funding grant requirements including enrollments and supervising financial assistance spending
• Provide direct supervision of HVRP staff and performance management
• Participate in local outreach and collaborative efforts with partner entities
• Implement policy or accreditation standards to ensure organizational compliance
• Review annual training schedule for all HVRP staff
• Lead program quality assurance strategies
• Review documentation needed for grant compliance
• Ensure timely completion of quarterly and year end reports to the Department of Labor
• Monitor information systems and coordinate with consultants for program changes
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of veteran homelessness and available support services
• Experience managing staff and budgets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to serving veterans in need
• Role requires travel within the community
• Operate in a professional office environment with standard equipment
