Job summary

Lakes-Regional-Community-Center in Terrell, TX seeks a Program Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Suicide Prevention Grant Program, supervise the Veteran Navigator QMHP and Peer Support Specialist, coordinate outreach, screenings, and follow-up, and build partnerships with VA and community providers.

The role involves monitoring documentation, data collection and outcomes, collaborating with MVPN on veteran engagement and education, coordinating staff training, and occasional travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social work, human services, or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in behavioral health, Veteran services, case management, or program coordination.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Master’s degree and military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Veteran Navigator/QMHP and Peer Support Specialist.
• Coordinate Veteran outreach, referrals, screenings, and participant follow-up.
• Monitor service documentation, data collection and outcomes.
• Develop partnerships with VA providers and community organizations.
• Collaborate with MVPN on Veteran engagement, education and training.
• Coordinate staff training and address barriers to services.
• Regional travel and occasional adjusted hours for outreach and events.
