Job summary

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (UEC) seeks a part-time, non-benefited position to advance veteran-focused research and workforce development initiatives on the CSUSB campus. The role supports program operations, coordination with faculty and external partners, and documentation to ensure ongoing success of Veterans Research Initiative.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong project coordination and communication skills, and experience working with veteran

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Admin, Business, or technology-related fields.
• Experience coordinating projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting veteran-focused programs or workforce development activities.
• Experience organizing activities, maintaining documentation, and supporting program operations.
• Knowledge of veteran-focused programs and best practices for engaging veterans in research and workforce development.
• Knowledge of project coordination principles in higher education or research environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and support Veterans Research Initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and support veteran-centered research and workforce initiatives.
• Apply expertise in veteran engagement and program development across operations.
• Advise on veteran culture and military-to-civilian transition in research initiatives.
• Support design and implementation of programs connecting veterans to technology research and training.
• Coordinate outreach and engagement activities to boost veteran participation in the Veterans Initiative.
• Provide essential administrative support to sustain Veterans research activities.
