Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of lived experience.
• Complete 30-hour Care and Counsel for Combat Trauma class, CPR certification, and ASIST within 6 months of employment
• Completed MHPS, RSPS, and CISM or state equivalent within 6 months of employment.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness to travel frequently. 75%

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledge of PTSD and related disorders and veteran needs.
• Facilitate and promote Combat Trauma Support Groups while tracking attendance.
• Work with colleagues, external audiences, and supportive services for Veterans.
• Facilitate support groups and one-on-one sessions.
• Respond to Veteran-in-crisis situations.
• Track progress of Veterans through Camp Hope and external programs.
• Participate in Veteran functions, fundraisers, and community events.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports or presentations to management.
• Ensure relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.
