Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, partners with the U.S. Department of Defense’s SkillBridge Program to offer a 3-month Veteran Leadership internship.

The program prepares transitioning service members for full-time operational leadership roles at Allied Universal and includes a weekly task plan and clear training goals. Selected candidates may receive a base salary range of $55k-$75k; however, employment is not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Active duty service member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before discharge.
• Can work onsite, 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 8 weeks with a maximum of 3 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Talent selection - learn to select, onboard, schedule and train security professionals.
• Team engagement - coaching and mentoring Allied Universal team members.
• Administrative management - assist with uniforms, supplies, timekeeping, payroll and scheduling.
• Client relations - learn client needs, develop customer intimacy, resolve issues.
• Business Operations - learn to run a profitable branch with compliance and metrics.
