Job summary

National University is seeking a Veterans & Military Community Center Assistant to support VMCC activities on-site in the Spectrum Center, San Diego. You'll help veteran students with benefits information and campus events, while assisting with data collection and outreach.

The role requires current NU student status with VA education benefits, 3/4 time enrollment during work-study, and adherence to SAP and dress code standards. Prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current National University student receiving Veteran Education Benefits under Title 38.
• Enrolled in and pursuing an approved program at 3/4 time or greater during the work-study semester.
• Maintain good academic standing per SAP policy.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and direct students on campus and over the phone.
• Assist veteran students with inquiries about benefits and activities.
• Support outreach within the community and on-campus events.
• Collect, compile, and track data to support VMCC activities.
• Perform basic data analysis and generate reports.
• Maintain relationships with student support departments and support publications.
