Job summary

National University is seeking a part-time Veteran & Military Community Center Assistant to support the VMCC team in providing services to veteran and military students. You will assist with inquiries about veteran benefits, coordinate outreach, and help maintain and update publications and web content.

The role requires you to attend required trainings, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with School Certifying Officials and other departments to ensure smooth services for eligible

Qualifications

• Must be a current National University student enrolled in 3/4 time or greater.
• Maintain good academic standing according to NU SAP policy.
• Experience in customer service and customer relations.
• Ability to meet performance and dress-code standards.
• Fundamental understanding of Veterans Education Benefits.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and direct students on campus and by phone.
• Assist veteran students with inquiries about benefits and activities.
• Participate in outreach within the community and on-campus events.
• Collect, compile, and track data in support of VMCC.
• Perform basic data analysis and generate reports.
• Conduct clerical and office duties as required.
• Maintain relationships with student support departments to facilitate services.
