Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or equivalent counselor to join the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Columbia, TN. The PCMHI-based role focuses on adults, with brief, solution-focused therapy and collaborative care within primary care.

The position offers weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm), competitive pay, generous time off, and comprehensive benefits through BCBS Texas for medical, dental, and vision. VA certification training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LCSW or equivalent LPC/LMFT license in the state of employment.
• Experience with adult veterans and PCMHI is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations and treatment planning.
• Provide individual therapy and brief, solution-focused interventions.
• Collaborate with PCMHI team and Veterans in primary care setting.
• Coordinate crisis intervention and case management as needed.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work

LCSW license

2+ years direct counseling (adult)
