Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Veteran Transitional Housing Program (GPD), ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services for veterans experiencing homelessness. The role supervises staff, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with all grant and regulatory requirements.

The position operates in a shelter and transitional housing system with on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in public administration, business administration, human services, or a closely related field.
1 year of direct supervisory or management experience.
Demonstrated ability to fulfill program compliance and administrative requirements.
Proven ability to lead teams of human service professionals.
Demonstrated abilities in effectively managing program grant agreements, contracts, and finances.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for the Veteran Transitional Housing Program (GPD).
Supervise staff, manage program operations and budgets.
Ensure compliance with VA, federal, state, and local regulations.
Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and staff development.
Develop strategic action plans for outreach and service delivery.
Collaborate with administrative services to meet grant requirements.
