Job summary

MRG Exams in Durham, NC is seeking a dedicated Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans. This rewarding part-time role, 3-4 days a week, focuses solely on conducting comprehensive eye exams—without treatment responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hold an active & unrestricted Optometrist or Ophthalmologist license.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing.
